And be sure to visit us often, as we're always growing and changing. ![]() Dear Parents and Students, As principal of Capps Middle School, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our Web site. I hope it will aide in our continual pursuit of outstanding academic and extracurricular accomplishments. Let's work together to carry on the tradition of excellence we have come to appreciate at Capps. Together we can meet our goals and make our school an awesome place to learn and to have fun. Get involved in the extracurricular activities we have to offer, and make these years the best. If you ever feel a need for extra help, whether it be academically or personally, I hope you will seek out one of our trained professionals. We are here to serve you. While we will do our best to make these years academically challenging, we are also here to help you succeed. Words of wisdom for the year: It's not what you have. It's not how you look. It's not who or what you know that matters most. What decides the path of your life, and the quality of our school, is what kind of person you are. It's your Character that makes the difference. The way to being really happy and getting along better with your classmates is by having good character. Think about what type of classroom you would really like to be in every day. Do you think a classroom where all of the students are trying to be fair, responsible, respectful and caring would be a good place to be every day? I believe that those kinds of classrooms are better places in which to learn. They are also more fun and safe. I welcome the opportunity to help you as you proceed through your junior high career. Let's make it a great year! Remember: "The choice is yours." Sincerely,
